If you see a message regarding not having permissions, please email info@almanaratheights.com with the following information requesting access.
- Your full name
- Your child’s full name
- Your child’s grade
- A Gmail email address (required)
You have two options.
Option 1: Use a Gmail address you already have.
Please contact the school office and ask them to change your email on file to your Gmail address. All future school emails will go to that address, and you will sign in to the Parent Portal with it.
Option 2: Create a Google Account on this address.
If you have never created a Gmail or Google Account, you can create a free one on parent@hotmail.com by following the steps below.
A Google Account is not a Gmail inbox. These are two different things, and it is where most people get stuck:
- A Gmail inbox is a mailbox ending in @gmail.com.
- A Google Account is only a username and password for signing in to Google. It does not need to be a Gmail address.
So you can create a free Google Account on the address you already use — Yahoo, Hotmail, Live, Outlook, or any other provider. Doing this does not create a new mailbox, does not change where your email arrives, and does not give you an @gmail.com address. Mail sent to parent@hotmail.com keeps arriving in the same inbox it does today.
To create your Google Account:
- Go to accounts.google.com/signup
- Enter your first and last name, then continue.
- When Google asks you to choose a Gmail address, select “Use your existing email”.
- Enter parent@hotmail.com — it must match exactly.
- Google will email you a verification code. Enter it to confirm the address.
- Choose a password. Your Google Account is now ready.
- Return to this email and open the Parent Portal.
Already have a Google Account on this address? Just open the Parent Portal and sign in.
